We agree to: check guests in and out, prepare a scrumptious breakfast that is visually pleasing, arrange concierge add-on services like tickets to the ballet or a concert, hold wine tastings in the evening, prepare a snack for guests who are hungry at 8 pm, help guests plan a fun daily itinerary, and be guides around town or lead a boat tour.
We do not agree to: change bed linens and check for "stains"... wash linens, mop floors, clean toilets etc. Please hire a housekeeping staff of 2 for every 5 rooms at your location.
Chuck loves the ocean which is why we seek work on the balmy, SOUTHERN, East Coast. He loves to fish and would love to take visitors out on a sunset cruise or fishing adventure. Professionally, Chuck has been in the remodeling business since 1997 and works at the craftsman level; he will be able to quick assess a minor issue from a major emergency. If you want him to do repairs or remodeling, he will be charging you his usual rate of $125 for the first hour and $75/hour for every hour thereafter. Fishing tours he'll do for free.
Given the turbulent political times, we live in.... It may also give you comfort to know Chuck is a former United States Marine Corps Military Police Officer. Your property will be safe from break-ins on his watch. Both of have conceal carry permits.
Chuck specializes in preparing a Southern breakfast feast and also favors Southwestern grilled menus; Rose's specialty is in French or Italian menus with complementary wine. Both are organic gardeners and use a wide range of fresh herbs in our cooking.
Rose is skilled in marketing and sales; her background includes working for a wedding chapel and reception hall as an event manager, booking all wedding and business meetings and coordinating all concierge service requests.
If she could plan an event for 300; she is more than capable of handling a B &B's usual night of five or six couples.
If you are going to tie salary to results, Rose must be given wide latitude with marketing. That is a non- negotiable.
Fresh weekly website content, press releases every 3 months, local magazine and newspaper ads, photoshoots for exclusive articles in trade magazines, video testimonials--these are some of the marketing pieces necessary to run a B & B.
Social media sandblasts your message, but it may not obtain the clientele who can afford to visit your location!
Upscale, high-end inns/rentals/vacation homes, with owners who are generous to staff and good listeners, and have a genuine desire to produce something of beauty.
Chuck has traveled widely to 30 countries in his capacity in the US Marine Corps; Rose has been to Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany and every US state but Arizona and New Mexico. We are well- traveled, well-read, well-heeled and well prepared to turn your inn into the best venue on the planet.
